Role: Engineering Manager Salary: £55,000-£60,000 DOE Hours: 37.5 hours per week - The site is open 06.00-18.00 so flexible working & hours are considered. Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire Job type: Full time, Permanent & Temporary to Permanent The Client: Interaction Technical have partnered with a well renowned & developing manufacturing organisation based in the Kettering area. Due to substantial growth & having doubled in size over the past 5 years (with projections to do the same in the next 5), our clientis now looking for an Engineering Manager to lead their team and strive for further growth. The package: · Salary between £55,000-£60,000 dependent on experience · 24 days annual leave + public holidays (34 in 2023!) · Life insurance & company pension scheme · Comprehensive training scheme with various bandings of development (inclusive of relative pay rises) · Free on site parking alongside site refreshments · Adhoc events (food vans, company nights out) · Discounts on high street store & gym memberships The Role: · You will manage a team of engineers, supporting their professional development by carrying out performance reviews. · Ensure products meet all relevant standards by regularly reviewing new technology whilst making sure files are maintained and updated where required. · Support the day to day running of the business by reviewing and helping to drive the growth of the company. · Offer technical engineering support to both the Production and Service teams where required. · Work with and maintain positive relationships with manufacturers to ensure customers needs are met and all vehicle details and accreditations are up to date. · Carry out technical project reviews with customers where required. · Ensure smooth running of all machinery and processes on site. The Requirements: · Previous experience as an Engineering Manager (essential) · Must be degree qualified BEng or equivalent (essential) - Masters degree (advantageous) · Previous experience using CAD and/or PDM systems, Solidworks preferable (essential) · FEA and Material Properties knowledge (essential) · Professional affiliation within the UK Engineering Council, preferably IMechE (essential) · Previous experience of working with EPICOR (advantageous) · Previous experience of EN280:2015 (advantageous) Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
