Role: CNC Setter Operator (Turning) Salary: £30,000 per annum Hours: 4.5 day working week, 39 hours per week. Monday-Thursday 08.00-17.00, Friday 08.00-13.00 + Overtime Available Location: Egham, Surrey Job type: Full time, Permanent Interaction have partnered with a world leading aerospace manufacturing client that have been in operation for over 60 years. Due to expansion, we are supporting this client in recruiting for a CNC Setter Operator (Turning). The Package: o 32 days annual leave - Inclusive of public holidays o Private Health Care Scheme o Company Pension Plano Company Sick Pay Scheme o 4.5 working week, early finish on Fridays + overtime available o Internal & External Training Opportunities offering a scope for development/progression o Free on-site parking o Life Assurance Package o A clean & modern working environment o Employee Assistance Programme The Role: o Responsible for setting/operating and manufacturing a variety of small-batch components from engineering drawings to within tight limits o Manufacturing components within agreed timescales and in accordance with the manufacturing plan o Setting a variety of CNC machine tools for operators (Lathes, incl live tooling) o Ensuring that all manufacturing paperwork is completed correctly o Ensure that the companys requirements for maintaining material traceability are met o Responsible for Mentoring new staff as required What we need from you: - Demonstrable CNC turning experience - Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment - Ability to work using metric and imperial -Experience in Aerospace industry - Computer literate and ability to edit programs using Fanuc Controls - Ability to work independently while in a team - Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure - Team player with a strong can do ethic - High awareness of productivity and quality - Learn, Apply, and improve Similar roles may include: Manufacturing Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Aeronautical Engineer, Aircraft interior engineer Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
