We are recruitingfor an Applications Engineering Manager based internally, with a consultative style. The teams overall role includes customer contact but with zero cold callingrequired. The ideal candidate must be "customer orientated".Duties include: Conveyor and Storage layout design / costings. Having some experience with AutoCad would be an advantage. 1st Level support for PLC control topics (basic PLC know-how would be beneficial) Preparing proposals integrating different conveyor elements Application support and advice, throughout the sales process Expedite project-type orders, working closely with the manufacturing units and ensuring products are delivered on time and to customer Facilitate and participate in customer meetings. Advising them on applications and the best suitability.
