Job Description

    • About the Role: A great new role is now available for an experienced Accounts Senior / Semi-Senior to join an established yet growing chartered accountants and business advisors. You will be joining a supportive team with a good approach to work/life balance and genuine opportunities for career progression. Experience of, or the desire to learn and to increase your knowledge base, running basic small audits is highly desirable as is personal tax exposure.This is an interesting and varied role where you will be supporting Partners preparing statutory and management accounts for a portfolio of clients from sole traders through to larger limited companies in diverse business sectors. You will be professionally supporting and communicating directly with clients as well as third parties including HMRC.Requirements: You will either be professionally qualified or studying towards a professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or have suitable experience in previous practice-based accountancy roles. You should be a team player and able to communicate in a professional and personable manner with colleagues and clients alike. Experience of running some basic smaller audits, or open to aiming to get to this point, would be advantageous as would some personal tax experience although not essential as training can be given.
