Job Description

Berry Recruitment are looking for a Senior Sous Chef for a well established Event Catering Company based in North Northamptonshire.This is an award-winning premium event catering company which was created over 20 years ago and are still passionate about food. They cater for a wide range of events from private dinner parties to weddings and formal balls. Combining their passion withlocal produce, innovative chefs, and extensive experience in catering, they provide an experience to remember. Originating from a beautiful, small, family-run farm in Northamptonshire, the company caters for events throughout East Anglia, including Hertfordshire,Cambridgeshire, Essex, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire as well as the Midlands and beyond.What does the ideal candidate look like

  • 5+ years experience in a Sous chef role in a high-volume environment.
  • Experience working with fresh ingredients.
  • Demonstrate clear leadership with the ability to manage the team and kitchen in the Head Chefs absence.
  • Industry knowledge, keeping up to date with current trends.
  • Comfortable ordering stock and managing food levels.
  • Strong Understanding of HACCP & COSHH.
  • Level 2/3 Food Hygiene Certificate and Ensuring that kitchen staff adhere to quality, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
  • Have a reliable mode of transport or are looking to relocate to the area.
  • Fine Dining experience preferred but not essential.
  • Driving License a must have.
