Job Description

My client, based between Solihull & Coventry, enjoy a c. £50m turnover and are growing their finance team.We are looking for a Financial Analyst to analyse the Management Accounts which are prepared within the Shared Service Centre then passed on for analysis and interpretation. Therefore this role focuses on analysing the accounts from a Reporting & Controlperspective.Priorities are;

Ensuring the accuracy of reported numbers
Assisting with performing a meaningful variance analysis to provide performance insight
Identifying opportunities to optimise and support the day to day management of the business
Providing a positive influence on the determination of the strategic direction of the business
Management of cash & working capital, capex control, profitability projects
Supporting risk management activities
Supporting the business profitability processes
Analysis & reporting
Analysing the month-end results

What are we looking for:

Someone who can already prepare management accounts and who can analyse the accounts in order to provide business insight and support key decision making
Experience of analysing numbers (essential)
A confident communicator, able to liaise easily with the wider business. (essential)
Proficient with IT systems (essential)
Ideally someone who has already started to study CIMA or ACCA (not essential)
