Secondary Teacher of Spanish - Thanet

  • Start Date: 2nd January 2024 (Maternity Leave)
  • Salary: £30,000 to £46,525 (In line with your current pay scale)

Academics are currently working with a secondary school in Thanet who require a Teacher of Spanish to cover a maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant, innovative and successful department teaching Modern Foreign Languages (Spanish)from KS3 through to GCSE level.What skills and experience the school are looking for
  • Be a qualified Spanish Teacher (QTS - PGCE, B.Ed, GTP)
  • Passionate about teaching and learning and have a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong and effective classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
  • Be able to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum and have a thorough knowledge of present curriculum development particularly those relating to Spanish
  • High expectations for yourself and the children to ensure that all of our children achieve their very best
  • You will be dedicated to ensure that all of our children achieve their very best
  • An aspiring leader of learning and happy to grasp exciting CPD opportunities
  • Contribute to the values, ethos and the development of our schools.
  • The opportunity to work with happy and well behaved children who are excited about learning and work with parents who are supportive of our school values and ethos.
