Job Description

SQL Database Administrator (DBA) - 1 Day Per Week in Kent £40,000 - £45,000 per year Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SQL Database Administrator to join our clients team in Kent. The SQL DBA will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and performance of our organisations database systems.Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement database systems to meet the needs of the organisation
  • Maintain and troubleshoot database systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime
  • Monitor and optimise database performance, including tuning queries and indexes
  • Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
  • Secure and protect data by enforcing policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with developers to design and implement database solutions for new projects
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and industry best practices
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a DBA
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management systems
  • Familiarity with programming languages
  • Strong experience with DBA Case Tools
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience with database design and modeling tools
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
