Job Description

Information Security Manager – Kent – Hybrid – GBP85,000 + Excellent benefits Overview: An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Information Security Manager to work within a highly established technical department. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the information security program within the organization. You will ensurethe confidentiality, integrity, and availability of an organizations information asset and work to protect the organizations information from unauthorized access, cyber threats, and data breaches.Role & Responsibilities:

  • Gather and collate up to date Security Intelligence Information and produce an ABM Weekly Intelligence Brief to be shared with all
  • Ensure all Security Updates and Alerts are notified to the wider teams in a timely manner
  • Provide ongoing Security Advice and Assistance to the management teams when required
  • Maintain the Company Alerting System F24 and send out the monthly test and security alerts as required
  • Review, update and onboard our Training and Security Providers ensuring that any Security Provider is ACS approved
  • Keep the Security Nucleus up to date with relevant information
  • Develop and maintain the security strategy and its implementation
  • Proven organisational and leadership skills
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Be a good communicator with interpersonal skills
  • Have a working knowledge of security legislation and Health & Safety requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
  • Solid understanding of statistical data analysis
  • Managing security incidents
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • You have great communication skills and can explain technical issues clearly to non–technical personnel
  • You understand modern threat actors, and how they operate
  • You have a deep interest in networking and infrastructure
  • You have an understanding of applying the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • You have knowledge of security compliance frameworks, like ISO, NIST and CIS
  • You have an understanding of risk analysis/management
  • Youre well versed with Microsoft 365
Desirable:
  • Minimum experience of 2 years in Security Project Management
  • In–depth knowledge of security systems installation techniques, equipment, and tools.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong analytical and problem–solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
