Fantastic opportunity to join growing and changing market leader as Group Financial ControllerYou will oversee a number of the group businesses, consolidate the results and drive improvement in accounting processes and systemsClient DetailsOur exclusive client is a market leading business with global operations. They are planing to continue growth both organically and by acquisition and are seeking a new Financial Controller to grow as they grow.DescriptionThe Group Financial Controller will have a broad and varied remit that will focus on the management of a number of Group entities.You will support and manage the team, and will be responsible for the unification, standardisation and improvement of the systems and procedures as you seek to become more efficient and uniform.As the company is acquisitive, as new businesses come on board, you will be responsible for integrating the acquired businesses into the group structure, ensuring that they are audit compliant.You will report results to the CFO.ProfileThe successful candidate for this Group Financial Controller position must be fully qualified as an accountant (likely ACA or ACCA)You must be a strong communicator, able to bring together and improve various businesses and functionsThe ideal candidate will be comfortable with driving and instigating change, making improvements to systems, processes and procedures on a consistent basis.International accounting and financial reporting experience will be important, with a knowledge of various international GAAPs, IAS and regulatory standards (SOX)The role is based in Kent, although will likely start from home, but going into the office will be required as the work returns to a new normalityJob OfferA competitive basic salary and a strong benefits package including good bonus potential.
