They have an excellent reputation, and are now looking to appoint a new Financial Controller to support the Finance Director.Based in Medway, the client is accessible from most areas in North Kent, Medway, Maidstone and Swale, but the role is predominantly site based.DescriptionThis is a newly created Financial Controller role which would be ideally suited to a strong, all round accountant looking to take a first or possibly second step from an accountancy firm.You will be involved in the preparation of the monthly management accounts, providing insight and analysis on trends and comparisons to previous year / period.Additionally you will be involved in the year end process, financial accounts and financial reporting, proving to be a key ally to the Finance Director.Ultimately you will aim to oversee the month-end process, improve systems, processes and procedures, and support the finance director on strategic projectsProfileThe ideal candidate for this financial Controller should have:
