Job Description

Assistant BIM ManagerWesterham, KentJob Reference EGKT90Salary negotiable depending on experience Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be supporting this award-winning practice, currently looking for an experienced, self-motivated Assistant BIM Manager to join their team in the Kent area.Our client has have many years experience developing and implementing BIM processes and protocols and are looking for a bright, engaging facilitator with the communication skills and desire necessary to help the architectural teams achieve excellence.Essential skills / qualifications for this Qualified Architect Role.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficient in ArchiCad and Solibri
  • Excellent knowledge of BIM
  • Keen to work collaboratively with staff who have a wide range of experience and perspectives
    • Key jobs duties for this Qualified Architect Role.
  • Assess the quality of BIM models and assist teams to improve quality and reliability of modelling and data outputs, both formally and informally
  • Assist in analysing information requirements arising from national and international standards, client and project requirements from BEPs and EIRs and learn to advise staff on implementation and best practice
  • Assist staff with training in clash detection processes using Solibri
  • Maintain and deliver training to staff in Westerham as well as other locations when necessary
  • Support users through BIM support services and troubleshooting
  • Assist project teams to set up/manage models and deliver BIM outputs
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of short- and long-term training strategies and programmes to staff, through group and individual training sessions
