Analytical Scientist x 3£28-33K per annumKentSearch Scientific are seeking to hire a Analytical Development Scientist to join a leading company in the life sciences, providing unique analytical testing services, supporting the pharmaceutical sector.This role will be based as part of an analytical team based on an external client site in Kent, Working to ensure the products they supply are safe, their ingredients are authentic and labelling is accurate. Responsibilities This position will be predominantly laboratory based and focused on analytical method development and validation activities associated with APIs, intermediates and regulatory starting materials using a range of chromatographic techniques. Key duties will include: * Performing routine & non-Routine analysis to set specifications and build understanding of product properties, tolerances and potential impuritys.* Providing analytical support for onsite project teams.* Supporting API or Drug Product process development through hands-on generation of accurate and precise analytical chemistry data development and execution of method validation protocols.* To develop dissolution methodology that will provide some measure of an in vivo / in vitro relationship and serve as a quality control procedure.* Assist with analytical transfer projects to external client sites, providing technical support.* Evaluation of new technologies to be used onsite. * Identifying, tracking and tabulating process related impurities through laboratory and pilot scale development studies.Requirements* A degree in chemistry, Pharmaceutical science or a relevant field. * Method development and validation experience * A good understanding of organic chemistry.* Experience with chromatographic techniques (HPLC, MS, NMR (liquid) GC, UPLC), vibrational spectroscopy, dissolution testing, Karl Fischer and UV spectroscopy.. * Strong analytical & problem solving skills.If you would like to apply for this role please use the link provided below.
