Job Description

Operational Team Leaders required for a busy manufacturing company in Clevedon, North Somerset. Ideally situated by M5 junction 21, this is an easy commute for anyone living in Bridgwater, Cheddar, Bristol or Newport.

  • £16 - £18 per hour PAYE or £20.70 - £23.30 via Umbrella
  • Pay rate depending on experience
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • A shift premium of +15% is added to early mornings (6am-2pm) +25% is applied to the late shift (2pm - 10pm)
  • 33 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)
  • Performance related bonus scheme
  • Ample free parking and subsidised canteen on site
About the job
  • Responsibility for a team of up to 25 staff
  • Manage all activities relating to the effective operation of your team, to ensure all activities are on time and to standard.
  • To support, lead and coordinate the team to be proactive in anticipating needs and exceeding business expectations.
  • To lead and develop a high performing multi skilled team in order to achieve individual, departmental and organisational objectives.
The right candidate
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environmentmechanical or electrical
  • Significant experience of leading, motivating and developing a team - essential
  • Have a responsible approach to H&S of themselves and others
  • Must be able to work with detailed information in a logical and organised way
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Excellent IT literacy, being a competent user of MS office
