Job Description

Interim Supply Chain Deputy Manager required within a leading manufacturer of sophisticated vacuum products, exhaust management systems and related value-added services.Based in Clevedon, BS21

  • £65,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday
  • Flexibility on working hours with variable start and finish times possible
  • 25 days holiday per year + bank holidays

About the role
  • Defining and managing procurement and material supply chain strategy
  • Deliver parts on time, to quality and cost against the product company strategy
  • Developing a network of suppliers capable of supporting current needs and strategic goals.
  • Oversee the teams workload / activities, ensuring correct prioritisation in a fast paced and complex environment
  • Ensure site-wide stock accuracy
  • Provide close support to local operations and commercialising management for strategy and material supply during NPI projects.
  • Align goals and working practices between all procurement, receiving and material supply teams.
  • Define and establish integrated and aligned material supply strategies along the entire supply chain (e.g. kanbans, VMI, etc.)
The right candidate
  • Degree qualified with CIPS qualification
  • Significant experience in a complex, global supply chain environment
  • Substantial experience of managing and leading teams
  • Lean manufacturing and lean supply chain management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, MRP software platforms and SAP
