Are you an experienced Strategic Account Manager with a focus on Infrastructure Do you want to work for a leading managed service providerAs Strategic Account Manager, you will be acquiring and developing customers that need fibre infrastructure solutions. Typical customers are Data Centres, Local Authority networks, Universities and Business Parks, where multiple dark fibre connections andnetworks underpin numerous services from high bandwidth data network to CCTV and IoT applications.About the RoleMain Responsibilities- Understanding of fibre infrastructure - ducts, chambers and cables combined with the benefits of infrastructure to Universities, Councils, Data Centres and Business Parks is essential- Growing our infrastructure customer base, adding new logos to our client portfolio- Exploring new opportunities and tenders- Working co-operatively with other departments in Glide to create compelling business cases internally and compelling solutions to our customersAbout YouKnowledge and Experience- Self-starter, organised, driven- Proficient in MS Office and Google Earth- Good relationship builder and excellent dealmaker- Technical knowledge and aptitude to understand fibre infrastructure, Wave Division Multiplexing and GPON- Creativity to write convincing business cases using customer requirements and internal Glide development plans- Great presentation skills- Proven sales experience in fibre infrastructure or high bandwidth complex network sales at enterprise size- Knowledge of private fibre infrastructure and Openreach PIA product is advantageousAbout UsGlide started life as separate businesses delivering broadband, utilities and communications services to different markets across the UK.
