Job Description

About usThe opportunity to help develop and grow an already well-established Aviation training materials provider across, the UK, Europe, and the rest of the world.Role OverviewThe key element of this role is to identify and generate B2B sales opportunities through both outbound and inbound activities, including through phone, Zoom/MS Teams, email, and social media.This approach will be supported through our awareness and lead generation campaigns driven by our Digital Marketing Executive.The right candidate works well under pressure, is very proactive, initiates relaxed but informative two-way conversations with prospects, and is highly self-motivated.You will research potential clients, qualify leads, and connect with and inform prospects before handing over to the Business Development and Comms Manager.Responsibilities:

  • Research, identify, develop, and contact leads and prospects (key end-users and decision-makers) generated by a variety of internal and external sources and qualify opportunities.
  • Generate and nurture leads using a variety of channels.
  • Provide product demonstrations of the BGS training software via online zoom or similar meetings, proactively selling the product to key decision-makers within the schools, helping to convert prospects to customers. Then delivering the leads to your manageronce a qualified appointment has been made, to close the deal.
  • Drive market awareness via marketing efforts, working closely with the Digital Marketing Executive, helping to develop sales by direct end-user engagement via the phone and online presentations.
  • Ensure successful follow-through of the sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application.
  • Ensure the CRM system is 100% accurate and up-to-date at all times.
  • Attend relevant aviation-related events to raise awareness of the product and service with a view to generating new leads.
What experience youll need
  • Previous outbound B2B sales experience.
  • Lead generation and demonstratable success
  • Clear and confident communicator
  • Tech-savvy with a passion for technology
  • Strong copywriting skills, with experience in creating and executing a multi-channel lead generation campaign, specifically across digital channels.
  • Good planning and organisation skills - meeting deadlines and measuring performance against goals, evaluating results consistently
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation skills as well as good attention to detail
The successful candidate will work closely with the Business and Communications Manager to drive Bristol Groundschool B2B revenue and deliver on the sales plan.Person specification
  • A dynamic, proactive approach to working with potential customers, quickly identifying, and addressing their needs, and helping to ensure any challenges and barriers to the partnership are resolved if possible.

Tasks
  • Identifying leads and prospects.
  • Gaining a thorough understanding of the BGS training package and how it can best work for each potential customer.
  • Gaining an understanding of customers needs to offer the training package in the most appropriate way.
  • Actively read through aviation-related websites to help become more informed on industry updates, topics, and trends.
  • Calling prospects and/or leaving a voicemail and follow-up, maintaining regular timely contact/follow-up
  • Nurturing and developing leads by pushing additional information/content and calls to action
  • Support the implementation and continuing use of an effective data management system to provide an up-to-date overview of all activity with schools both in the sales pipeline and those using competitor training material.
  • Gaining interest and booking appointments for a demonstration of the training package and/or telephone calls.
  • Dealing with inbound enquirers and converting them into appointments.
  • Candidates will be responsible for creating relevant content such as case studies, blogs, articles, and will then disseminate this through the website, social channels, and email campaigns to new and existing clients working closely with the Digital MarketingExecutive. This will include customer engagement and bringing contact details into the CRM.
