Job Description

Are you well organised, with the ability to prioritise and coordinate in a fast paced ever changing environment and looking for a new opportunity If yes, our Resource Coordinator could be the perfect role for you.As a Resource Co-ordinator within National Engineering, you will deal with requests for engineer bookings from Project Managers, and Central Operations. Scheduling each request to ensure the optimum engineer is assigned based on location and skills matchfor task required. Each engineers time should be optimised wherever possible. Major outages of customer or exchange site is treated as a priority and works re-scheduled around when this occurs. Resourcing all Glide installation requests received from Provisioning,ensuring optimised clustering of tasks to reduce travel time. All faults passed from the Service desk or NOC requiring an engineer visit will require scheduling with internal engineers or third-party sub-contractors within SLAs. Ensuring that any stock shortagesreported by Internal or external parties are reported to Supply Chain.Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all requestors and stakeholders receive accurate information regarding the availability of engineer resource and scheduling. Any available time to wherever possible to be utilised with fault resolution.
  • Ensure all customers or end users of the services provided are contacted to arrange engineer visits within contractual SLAs, gaining access at suitable time with required RAMS documentation when required.
  • Maintaining step by step process until resolution and ultimate assignment back to the requestor.
  • Delivering against internal workflow KPIs.
  • Making commercial decisions on the most cost-effective resolution of available options when considering larger rectification works.
  • Working with the Service Management team on problem resolution or referral of complex works which require commercial negotiation.
