Job Description

Do you have excellent analytical and numeracy skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environmentWe are a dynamic, forward-thinking organisation who can offer an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within the finance function. You will support the Purchase Ledger Manager in the day-to-day processing, verifying and posting of supplier invoicesand purchase order data and demonstarte your excellent communication skills as you liaise with the Finance, Operational and Commercial teams.Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Matching supplier invoices to purchase orders, liaising with Operational and Commercial teams to resolve issues.
  • Processing invoices to relevant projects or internal P&L and departmental codes, working with Finance team to ensure correct coding.
  • Checking the status of purchase order to ensure invoices are authorised to pay, or ensuring non-PO invoices are approved for payment in line with the Authority Matrix.
  • Changing status of invoices when approved, or in query.
  • Assisting in the creation of weekly supplier payment runs based on approved invoices, including international supplier.
  • Reconciling supplier statements, including follow up of queries and supplier challenges Employee Expenses.
  • Review employee expenses claims in Concur to ensure they are in line with company policies and appropriately approved.
  • Create fortnightly expenses payment runs,
  • Assisting in the reconciliation of monthly credit card statements against request forms.
  • Post transactions against projects or internal P&L codess.
  • Assist in the preparation of bank reconciliations for some bank accounts.
