Are you a passionate Credit Controller looking for your next challenge Do you want to work in a challenging, yet rewarding environmentAs Credit Controller, you will work closely with the Accounts Receivable Manager and Sales Ledger Administrator to collect outstanding debtor balances and allocate cash receipts, maintaining progress against cash collection targets as well as reviewing existingprocess and implementing improvements. Please note that this role is based in Kenn, Clevedon and offers hybrid working.About the RoleMain Responsibilities Maximise the cash receipts for Glide Student and Residential, Glide Business and Glide Fibre in line with specified target Maintain regular contact with customers via email and phone and build relationships with key customer accounts to ensure outstanding debtor balances are collected on time, including historic balances Deal with customer issues, including providing statements, invoices, and credit notes, liaising internally with the wider finance team, Customer Support, Customer account management and Sales teams to resolve issues Follow procedures and take actions for each stage of non-payment and report progress and outcomes Work with Management Accountant to assist in weekly cash receipt forecasts and track progress against weekly cash collection targets Allocate cash receipts and prepare bank reconciliations Run credit checks for new customersAbout YouKnowledge and Experience Credit control experience Sage X3 experience desirable Eclipse (Inform Billing) experience desirable Construction industry invoicing experience desirable Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel Self-starter and proactive High level attention to detail Excellent customer skills Excellent communicator with a tactful yet determined manner, great at developing relationships with colleagues and customersAbout UsGlide started life as separate businesses delivering broadband, utilities and communications services to different markets across the UK.
