Dispatch ControllerEast Kilbride, LanarkshireThe OrganisationServing some of the UK’s most recognisable brands, our client is an expert designer, manufacturer and installer of signs.They are currently looking for a Dispatch Controller to join their Factory Management Team.The Benefits- Negotiable salary DOE- Company pension (after three months’ probation)- Life insurance (after one year of service)- Income protection- Optical careIf you are an organised dispatch professional, this is a fantastic opportunity to work for a successful organisation with a prestigious clientele.Our client’s work can be seen all over the country, having delivered ambitious and innovative projects for Heathrow Airport, Iceland, Volvo, and the London 2012 Olympics, to name a few.So, if you want to join a rewarding environment where professional growth and development is encouraged, this is the role you’ve been waiting for.The RoleAs a Dispatch Controller, you will ensure all dispatch requests are carried out successfully, ensuring they are on time, quality checked and meet company standards.Following the processes, procedures and in-house systems, you will ensure the successful dispatch of products, fixing kits and paperwork.Reporting to the Dispatch Supervisor, your role will involve:- Hitting all daily dispatch targets and swiftly reporting back any problems- Overseeing all aspects of quality throughout the dispatch process- Aiming to achieve zero defects on site- Completing all required paperwork and data entryAbout YouTo be considered as a Dispatch Controller, you will need:- Experience in dispatch control or a similar environment- A structured approach to work, with the ability to be highly organised and process driven- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- To be proactive, a quick learner and a team playerOther organisations may call this role Dispatch Co-ordinator, Dispatch Operative, Dispatch Administrator, Dispatch Assistant, or Logistics Assistant.This is a full-time role, working 7:30am – 4:30pm, Monday – Thursday and 7:30am - 2pm on Fridays.Webrecruit and our clients are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
