Job Description

Teconnex is a privately owned global business with sites in Mexico, China, Europe and the UK. We are part of the Hexadex Group. We manufacture jointing systems and technical products to meet the needs of our worldwide customers within the automotive and other industrial markets.We seek to recruit a professional Quality Manager to lead and manage the quality team based in Keighley. Responsible for all aspects of plant quality inclusive of internal and customer concerns; internal auditing; PPAP; inspection and test; MSA programme and IATF/customer visit facilitation.Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily management of the Quality team.
  • Ensuring all documentation and processes are to IAFT1649 requirements and that are met. Covering all aspects of PFMEA, SPC, PPAP, APQP, and MSA implementation
  • Reviews and seek continuous improvements, utilising CI methodologies and projects.
  • Support international sites within additional implementation and supporting surveillance audits
  • Provide practical and common sense solutions to all matters - following 8D and 5Y’s processes.
  • The person
  • Must have time served and experience of IATF16949 served within an the automotive Industry
  • Ideally has a degree /HNC within a mechanical subject
  • Ideally holds IATF audit certification or working towards this, however has conducted audits.
  • Solid leadership skills and currently leads a team of Quality professionals
  • A customer focused Quality Manager who leads by example, proactive and organised
  • Solid communication skills both written and oral.
  • Drives for results and be able to engage and influence other departments.
  • Passionate and analytical to drive to improvements and has a proven track record in improvements initiatives.
  • Flexible to travel as there will be some travel within the UK and internationally as required.
