Job Description

To standardise, improve and automate the production process to improve efficiency, increase capacity and improve quality!Client DetailsManufacturing in the North of England since 1996. Every product is custom built, designed to satisfy the needs of the customer.DescriptionWorking with Operations to identify, engineer & introduce solutions in a timely fashionAssist with the validation and commissioning of new plantImprove manufacturing efficiency by analysing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layoutAssure product and process quality by designing testing methods, assessing process capabilities, refining standards, and confirming manufacturing processes in a structured mannerDesign, develop & implement jigs & fixtures to aid productionDevelop and implement processes which eliminate or reduce any Health & Safety risks to our team membersHelp deliver the companys transition from a craft-based production process to a semi and then fully automated processWhere appropriate, assist in the development and project management of Platinum productsProfileEngineering based Degree / HNCProduction Engineering experienceExperience of managing capital expenditure projectsAbility to design jigs & fixtures to assist productionAbility to design/customise and implement processes to standardise and streamline ways of working so that capability, capacity & quality are improvedKnowledge of C.I. methods and best practiceExperience of implementing processes to improve Health & SafetyExperience of using Solidworks to produce highly accurate 3D CAD models and technical drawingsProject management experience and the ability to meet deadlinesExcellent attention to detailExcellent problem-solving abilitiesExperience of working with electro mechanical products is desirable but not essentialExperience of the stair lift industry is desirable but not essentialJob Offer

  • Hours - 37.5 per week, Flexible shift pattern
