Job Description

This is a new opportunity for a highly driven engineer to join a thriving business, looking after state of the art facilities and making notable improvements.Client DetailsMichael Page Engineering & Manufacturing are working in partnership with a highly successful, heavily growing, Keighley based business who supply across the UK. Having experienced fast growth in recent years, my client is looking to bring in a highly drivenindividual to strengthen the maintenance team and support through future growth.Description

  • Develop and maintain a fully functional Planned Maintenance system ensuring that Planned Maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with the scheduled maintenance plan.
  • Responsible for fault finding and carrying out reactive mechanical & electrical maintenance on medium to heavy industrial plant and equipment.
  • Analysing data & reviewing breakdowns that occur on the plant and implementing proactive actions & strategies to ensure they do not reoccur.
  • Managing all maintenance budgets inclusive of ordering spare parts, management & control of critical spares & planning annual maintenance budget.
  • To collate and manage facilities supplier issues ensuring supplier service levels are maintained
  • To manage the maintenance of buildings and to ensure that all building, environmental and other legislation specifications are met
  • Setting & auditing the facility opening up & closing down procedures
  • Gases & gas farm, shut down, maintenance & emergency procedures
Profile
  • Experience in influencing others, including functional managers in the adherence to policy & defined procedures
  • Ability to work at pace with pride, with little supervision
  • Understanding of health and safety protocols, PM & TPM
  • Qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Excellent organisation skills and pride in work produced
  • An enthusiastic individual who will promote our culture of positivity
