Summary Role Profile: Assistant Manager at Hardcastle Crags & East RiddlesdenWorking at the National Trusts Hard Castle Crags set in the heart of the valley. You will be working with Anna the F&B Manger as the Assistant Manager helping with, coaching, nurturing, and developing the team to deliver fantastic service to our visitorswhilst maximising sales at every opportunity and building our wonderful Weaving Shed Caf which in hand brings income back to Gibson Mill conservation work.Position: Assistant ManagerThe hours: 37.5 hours a week from mid-March to the end of October (5 days over 7 including weekends). During the winter season, working hours are 22.5 per week (FridaySunday) average of 31 hours per week.Total Hours: 1612hrs per yearThe salary: £19,086 (£23,088 full time equivalent)Duration: PermanentInterview date: 13th June 2022Interview: To be held at Gibson MillYou will work alongside the Food & Beverage team, volunteers and other teams on property to ensure every visitor receives outstanding customer service. It is important, as a face of the charity, to create memorable experiences for both members and visitorsand to represent the values of the National Trust. A passion for both customer service and food & beverage is a key element of the job along with the knowledge and experience it takes to lead a team. As this role is a leader position you will be directly involvedwith the training and induction of team members. You will also hold the responsibility of leading shifts, achieving daily targets and supporting the Food & Beverage manager in running the caf.
