Greycoat Lumleys client are seeking a Private Cook/Chef for their home in The Scottish Borders; commutable from the main Borders towns, a 20 minute drive from both Melrose and Kelso.The role will be focused for the most part on catering for four adults five days a week (including Sunday lunch), with the dishes to be healthy, home cooking. Experience of cooking to restaurant level is a bonus. The applicant must be confident in cateringfor allergies and other dietary requirements. There are times when the wider family are in residence, with meals to be catered for up to 12 to 14 on occasion. There is a team of staff in the house and on the estate who work well together, so applicants mustbe a team player. The Principals are welcoming and are looking for confidentiality, and high standards of food preparation and presentation.
