Reference: CAT/CV/20-06/423/3Job Title: Assistant ChefPay Rate: £12.50 - £13.00Working Hours: Variable Shift Rota - 07:30 - 15:00.3, 11:00 - 19:00 - 37.5 hours per week Location: IslipWould you be interested to join a leading catering company with a reputation for excellence Angel Hill Food Co. is currently recruiting for an Assistant Chef to join our passionate and driven team in Islip!Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation and service of food and beverages using seasonal, fresh ingredients and working within the financial parameters of the contract.
  • Implement and maintain statutory and company standards of hygiene, food safety and health & safety.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships both with company individuals and client personnel at all levels.
  • Work within a team to ensure service excellence always.
  • Actively working with the Chef Manager on events and themed days.
  • The role is to support the Catering Manager with 2 x distribution centres that operate 7 days per week with various services provided.
  • The role is predominantly Monday to Friday, however, the expectation is that the successful candidate must be willing to cover holidays and short notice absences at weekends and evenings

  • Be naturally outgoing and energetic with an ability to train and inspire.
  • Be financially astute and the ability to work within targets.
  • Must have experience and a passion for food and service.
