Transformation Lead - Band 8a15 Hours Per Week - 1 Year Fixed TermWork base: Ipswich / ColchesterAn exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of the integrated strategic programmes and transformation team alongside system colleagues to drive forward the implementation of the transformation programmes across the three CCGs and Integrated Care System (ICS). The role/s will oversee projects covering two key areas elective care and cancer services or both. The post holder/s will be responsible for the delivery of elective care predominantly in the NEE Alliance working with the East Suffolk and North East Essex CCG. For the cancer deliver this will be across the breath of the Suffolk and North East Essex Alliances and Integrated Care System. We are looking for someone with strong service transformation skills, experience of commissioning, delivering a variety of services and with a good knowledge of transforming services. A clinical background is not a requirement for the role. You will have the ability to enable partners to deliver a demanding agenda. To analyse complex information, have good communication skills for effective engagement with a wide range of stakeholders. Our ICS and Alliance ambitions are to continuously improve outcomes with a focus on population health management; you will have an in depth understanding of the NHS Long Term Plan and will lead initially on three ICS wide programmes, currently Stroke Services, Neuro rehabilitation and Cardio Vascular Disease. These are subject to change over time as key milestones are delivered and the priorities of the system move forward. As a key member of the Strategy and Strategic Programmes and TransformationTeam, you will be key to the transformation for these programmes, covering demand management, self-management, prevention, treatment and personalised care programmes to reduce variation in health outcomes and improve the treatment and care experience across our ICS. We need a creative and enthusiastic individual/s to implement these programmes and to deliver to a high standard at pace.Just over 1 hour by train from London, 1 hour by car to Stansted Airport, 45 minutes from your connection by overnight ferry to Holland; Suffolk inspires everyone, from George Orwell who adopted the name of one of our rivers, to the Suffolk coast and heaths, the inspiration for the composer Sir Benjamin Britten. From the east to the west, under impressive skies, the varied landscape of Suffolk changes subtly.Stretching north from Ipswich and Felixstowe, the Suffolk Coast, (with five sailing havens), and heaths has miles of Heritage Coast set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with beautiful beaches, stunning countryside and charming market towns for you to discover. The Ipswich waterfront is a beautiful ‘jewel in the crown’ and seamlessly blends moored yachts, the iconic university building, a working port, modern apartments and the alongside a lively mix of retail, bars and restaurants. Beyond this, Ipswich has three theatres, a thriving retail area and an abundance of independent boutiques and eateries in some of the most historic and architectural buildings in Suffolk.Inland are undulating fields, enfolding picturesque villages and slow-flowing streams. Some of the finest ancient woodlands can be found in this part of Suffolk, an area that abounds with ancient market towns, including Bury St Edmunds and Lavenham hardly changed since its heyday as an important Middle Ages wool town.
