Job Description

Our Client is seeking experienced Reinsurance professionals to join them in order to work as part of a dedicated team of Technicians.Whether you have a curiosity for Reinsurance or you are looking for a change in career, this is the ideal place to learn new skills and an opportunity for you to progress. There are opportunities across Pro Rata, Binder, Facultative and/or Excess of Loss.This is a role that can be conducted on a hybrid basis.As a Reinsurance Technician, you will:

Understand the Clients business, continually working with the Account Executives to fully support any specific client requirements
Participate in renewal planning, anticipating and preventing possible issues
Manage and coordinate workflow around renewals for your clients
Delivery of reliable, high-quality and timely technical and administrative support
Attend relevant meetings, ensure notes and follow up actions are completed
Develop and maintain close working relationships with Brokers & Account Executives
Generate and issue evidence of cover, debit notes and closing instructions
Produce contractual documentation to a high level and within timescales
Produce data, statistics, and information packs in support of the placement of a clients programme
Prepare accurate and timely production of client documentation (Market Reform Contracts, Evidence of Cover, Policies, slips, wordings clauses etc) in accordance with client and market needs.
Manage and resolve queries from clients and Insurers

Requirements:

Previous Reinsurance experience within Pro Rata, Binder, Facultative and/or Excess of Loss is advantageous
Successful management of workload; with an ability to manage expectations
Significant experience of working in a technical capacity for a Broker is favourable
Experience of using London Market systems such as ECF and LORS is ideal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Willingness to learn and develop new skills and knowledge
