Job Opportunity: Specialist Social Worker - Children in CareWe are currently partnering with an esteemed organization in their search for a dedicated and skilled Specialist Social Worker to join their team. They firmly believe that such inclusivity benefits not only their employees but also the communities they serve.As part of this organization, you will have the opportunity to work in one of their four specialist Children in Care (CIC) teams. These teams specialize in handling care proceedings, Looked After Children (LAC), and permanence. Your main responsibility willbe to provide essential support and services to Looked After children, enabling them to flourish in stable, nurturing, and healthy environments, and helping them reach their full potential.In this role, your expertise in the court area will be highly valued. You will be involved in supporting or leading cases within the court process and providing guidance to families throughout the adoption process. This will encompass conducting assessmentswithin court proceedings, managing court cases, engaging in parallel planning for adoption, handling some adoption cases, and writing Rule 14 reports.
