Social Research Field Interviewer£11.52 per hour, £500 joiner bonus, plus travel expensesField basedHave you ever wondered where stats like 36% of Britons think the government should reduce income tax come fromAs a Social Research Field Interviewer youll be interviewing members of the public, mostly in their homes. Youll ask for their opinions on a wide range of subjects on behalf of all kinds of different clients, from government bodies to public sector organisations.The results of your research will support shaping governmental and corporate policies across the UK.In most cases the recipients will receive a letter, so they should know youre coming. Youll still need to knock on doors and call people to arrange interviews.You wont need any experience, because youll get all the training you need. Youll need to be confident knocking on somebodys door and building rapport, sometimes in the pouring rain. Youll also need to be comfortable with technology, as youll use atablet and laptop to record data.This is a flexible role so youll have some control over when you work, although we ask you to commit to at least 12 hours a week. Beyond this you can work as many hours as you like when the work is available.Initially youll be paid by the hour (£11.52 per hour, depending on location and shift time) but once youre up and running youll be paid by results. Youll likely earn more this way, where youre being paid for every interview you completealong with other bonuses and incentives.Youll be assigned to a large area, you could have to travel anywhere from 3 to 33 miles to reach certain postcodes, sometimes further. In most cases youll need access to a car or another vehicle.
