Job Description

Senior Architectural Technician - Spider Recruitment Services, the specialist recruitment division of Spider are currently working with award-winning Suffolk based practice with a broad portfolio within a range of sectors and clients locatedthroughout East Anglia.The Role:We are seeking a Senior Architectural Technician will have the experience, skills and knowledge to act as the job runner for all RIBA work stages of a project.They will demonstrate high quality and considered designs in accordance with the Core Values of the practice and aspire for high quality construction detailing.The position will include working on a variety of projects within our varied portfolio both individually and as part of a team.Ideal Candidate require:

  • Part II Qualified or Recent Part III.
  • Experience of Construction Contract administration (JCT Suite)
  • Vectorworks 3D (preferable)
  • Adobe suite (Indesign and Photoshop)
  • Competent in drafting Design and Access Statements.
  • Knowledge of planning, building regulations, statutory compliance and technical standards.
  • Experience of managing and working with other team members.
  • Collaborative approach within the design team.
  • Experience in sustainable and energy conscious design
