Job Description

Hales Group Norwich are pleased to be working with a local industry-leading facilities, maintenance and repairs specialist.You will be working in social housing from reactive repairs.The successful Roofer will be working around East Anglia, mainly in Chelmsford, Colchester and IpswichYou will complete investigations, minor repairs, storm damage repairs, gutter clearances and roofing replacement to various building types.This is on a ongoing Temp to Perm contract.Key Responsibilities

  • Inspecting and identifying failures to the roof causing water ingress.
  • Resolving minor repair items such as gutter repairs, patch repairs, tile replacements.
  • Complete small and larger repairs to stop water ingress and liaise with the clients on the damage both externally and internally.
  • To ensure that the client is satisfied at all times.
  • Project a high level of quality customer services at all times.
  • To ensure that the relevant documentation is fully completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Completing periodic Gutter clearance works.
  • Actively support at all times, company policy and best practice.
  • Maintaining/developing good relations with clients and colleagues.
    • Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • CSCS/Asbestos Awareness - minimum requirement.
  • PASMA/IPAF/ TETRA/ EASI Deck.
  • Risk Assessment Training.
  • Must have excellent customer facing skills.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in roofing with checkable references.
  • Good knowledge of roofing systems.
  • Full UK Driving License.
