Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trainee EngineerCompetitiveIpswich, Suffolk, East AngliaThe RoleAre you keen to launch a career as an engineer specialising in refrigeration and air conditioning If so, an independent East Anglian company are looking for a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trainee or mate to a qualified Engineer.The successful candidate will work with an experienced engineer, assisting with the installation of pipework, equipment and fixings.The duties and responsibilities of a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trainee or mate to an Engineer include, but are not limed to:

  • Visiting customer sites to service and maintain air conditioning and refrigeration equipment to company standards in order to deliver excellent customer service.
  • A flexible approach to working hours as out of hours work is not unusual.
  • Being able to communicate with a range of customers about various issues.
  • Carrying out the work efficiently and to the highest standard, ensuring work is carried out in accordance with current Health and Safety regulations.

  • No formal qualifications required, although an NVQ level 2 in electrical, plumbing or carpentry would be an advantage.
  • Experience in the contracting or an engineering field and a Skill-card would also be an advantage.
  • Transportyou would need your own vehicle to meet with engineer each day.
