Job Description

Reed Accountancy are currently looking to recruit for a Part time Ledger Clerk to join a busy team in Stowmarket. 3 DAYS PER WEEKS/ 22.5 HOURS PER WEEKDescription:Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all purchase invoices andbank reconciliations are completed. You will be working alongside a small team to deliver timely, effective and quality data to assist the partnership in achieving operational aims.Job responsibilitiesWithin this role you will be responsible for completing the following tasks: Processing all purchase ledger invoices for review Assisting in maintaining and updating Aged Payables Matching bank payments to the relevant purchase invoices for all practices Assisting in the preparation and processing of mid-month and month-end pay runs Completing daily bank reconciliations Raising any ad-hoc purchase orders upon request Maintaining Central Finance email inboxSkills and requirementsThe successful candidate will have the following: A minimum C (or equivalent grade 4) or above in GCSE Maths and English Must be able to manage own workloads Must have good organisational skills Good oral and written communication skills Knowledge of Xero is preferable but not necessary IT literate – Microsoft Excel (desirable), Microsoft Word (desirable but not essential) Full UK driver’s license (you are likely required to travel between Practices)Additional information: This is a part time role for 3 days (22.5 hours) You will be entitled to a wide range of benefits Flexible working Enhanced maternity pay There may be times where you are asked to work additional hours in order to meet deadlinesSalary£18,000 to £21,500 (subject to experience) PRO RATAPLEASE GET IN TOUCH FOR MORE DETAILS.
