Job Title: Manual Machinist for Metalwork -experienced and/or traineeLocataion:Ipswich, SuffolkSalary: £11 - £13/hr depending on skill setWe are now a global manufacturer and supplier of specialist state of the art slitting and rewinding machinery for the film, paper and allied web industries.Due to continued growth we are now seeking additional machine shop staff to come and join our friendly team based in Ipswich. Job Requirements:We are seeking both experienced and trainee Milling Machinists and Lathe Machinists to join our friendly and busy metal work machine shop.The successful experienced applicants will be expected to be skilled or semi skilled; self motivated, and be able to read and understand engineering drawings.Candidates ideally should have experience in using manual lathes and/or manual milling machines, or be willing to learn machining components out of mild steel and aluminium to engineering drawings.Full comprehensive training will be given to any trainee/apprentice.
