Job Description

A unique opportunity has arisen for a learning and development specialist in the GB Corporate Risk & Broking segment of the WTW business.We are looking for an individual to develop colleagues at all levels so we continue to build to a high performing, fair and inclusive culture, where all colleagues can fulfil their potential.As a learning and development (L&D) specialist you will develop insights from internal and external research to identify knowledge and skill gaps, develop and deliver meaningful development interventions through a variety of mediums and evaluate their effectiveness.By joining the L&D team you will become part of our professional, high-performing and client focused team, reporting into the L&D director (CRB GB) with opportunities for flexible/hybrid working and being able to work across multiple business areas.The Role

  • Design and deliver various learning development interventions, including (but not limited to): Management Development, Professional and Personal Skills, Change, MS Office, Project Management, using a variety of methods (blended, classroom, remote, peermentoring)
  • Support the director of L&D in developing an effective and cutting-edge emerging leader programme
  • Facilitate team and individual development using valid and reliable tools, e.g., Saville, MBTI
  • Consult with stakeholders at all levels to identify needs, and where applicable, develop and deploy relevant and effective solutions
  • Be an internal L&D expert to be able to advise and inform stakeholders of wider trends in the talent, development and learning arena and to continuously improve offerings
  • Work with the wider L&D, HR, and talent teams across WTW as appropriate
The RequirementsRelevant experience in:
  • Conducting learning needs analyses
  • Instructional design and quality facilitation using a variety of mediums (e.g., in-person, remote)
  • Management and leadership development (design and delivery)
  • Coaching (accreditation preferred but not essential)
  • Evaluation and measurement of L&D interventions
  • Working with, and influencing colleagues at all levels, including senior leaders
  • Working with learning systems, e.g., Oracle, WebEx, and MS Teams
  • MS Office (Word, PPT, Excel) to a high standard
  • Managing multiple L&D related projects/programmes
Professional/Technical qualifications and knowledge:
  • CIPD in HRD L7 or equivalent qualification (essential)
  • Psychometric assessments: accreditation in at least one recognised assessment tool (e.g., Saville, Hogan, MBTI, Belbin, DiSC)
  • Knowledge and experience of insurance broking and the broking ecosystem is an advantage.
