Job Description

We are pleased to be working with a market leading business based in Ipswich town centre who are looking to bring on an IT Support Technician. Working within an internal IT team and 3rd Party IT Service providers you will play a crucial role in providingtechnical assistance, troubleshooting, and resolving IT issues for colleagues across multiple sites.What is the job

  • Provide first-line / second-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person. Resolve hardware and software issues promptly and effectively. Escalate issues where appropriate.Build, deploy, configure and issue hardware and software to support new users
  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Conduct user training sessions to improve end-users understanding of IT systems and best practices.
What do you need
  • Proven experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and problem-solving in a Microsoft environment.
  • Knowledge of hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with network concepts, protocols, and configurations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with customer-centric approach.
