Job Description

As an accomplished HR professional, you believe in the ability of strategic HR to determine the culture of an organisation - and that responsibility sits comfortably with you. And whether your experience is in the private or public sector, you value being able to influence leaders and create change that benefits everyone.We are working exclusively for a client to find their next Head of People. As the head of department in this organisation, you will lead and advise, negotiate and inspire. You will build capability and control resources. This is a high-profile position for an HR leader who is ready to put all their skills into a fulfilling, expansive role.Specific responsibilities include:

  • Strategic lead for HR with overall responsibility for HR delivery, policy, resource management, HR business partnering, workforce planning, occupational health and wellbeing.
  • Developing the capacity and capability of the people function to drive an integrated approach to service delivery.
  • Implementing and reviewing the People Management Agenda; including an innovative People Strategy.
  • Building organisation capability through planning, performance, talent and succession strategies in order to meet current and future workforce requirements.
  • Promoting and embedding diversity, equality and inclusion.
  • Leading change and building future leadership capability.
  • To be considered for this critical role in this unique organisation you must have a proven track record of leading HR teams in complex environments.
