Job Description

Keeler Recruitment, is currently partnering with a successful large company based in Ipswich to fill the role of Head of Business Partnering. This is a newly created position that will play a pivotal role in working alongside the CFO and key business leadersto utilise data and insights, driving improvements in the financial performance of the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 10 and transforming the finance function into a business partnering powerhouse.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, empower, and coach team members to maintain a finance function that runs effectively and efficiently.
  • Develop a culture of Business Partnering across the finance function.
  • Role model the values of the organisation and collaborate with colleagues across business divisions to be a catalyst for change and business improvement.
  • Coach the finance team to deliver a best-in-class business partnering service to leaders across the organisation.
  • Work closely with the CFO to drive best practice and transform the service delivery of the wider finance team.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Financial Control and Chief Financial Officer to identify and develop new opportunities.
  • Monitor project progress throughout all levels and facets of the business.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of skills and experience to undertake your role.
  • Work with the finance team to ensure the efficient use of resources.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA).
  • 5+ years post-qualification experience.
  • Proven track record of driving improvements through business partnering.
  • Commercially aware with the ability to challenge the business and drive operational changes.
  • Gravitas to set up a new function and drive value.
