Global Procurement Category Manager - End User & Collaboration Services

Job Description

As the Category Manager for Hosting & End User Services, you will be responsible for supporting WTW across the business for the procurement of End User & Collaboration Services. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to develop sourcing strategiesrelated to end user & collaboration services. Knowledge is essential in compute, storage, middleware, infrastructure, service management and reporting platforms, end user compute, software, and licensing to meet the business and stakeholder needs. A strongknowledge of wider major Technology providers is also desired.You must have experience in building and maintaining key business stakeholder relationships within the category and serve as a trusted advisor and partner for them on hosting, end user and infrastructure related matters for WTW. The Category Manager for EndUser & Collaboration Services will support the Associate Director of Hosting & End User with relevant category planning for the business.The successful candidate will also have a creative and positive approach to problem solving and a strong collaborative approach with other team members and stakeholders.The Role

• Management of procurement activities including sourcing, commercial negotiations, and project management for End User & Collaboration Services with aim to mitigate risks and achieve intended financial outcomes
• Accountable for management and delivery of projects including renewals, consolidations of existing relationships and other sourcing activities
• Provide guidance and manage escalations on those individual efforts
• Maintain relationships with colleagues on the Category Management team, internal stakeholders, as well as suppliers.
• To put the interests of WTW, clients and the integrity at the heart of the way you a WTW do business
• Leverage vendor relationships through negotiation to ascertain best in class products/services while reducing total cost of ownership, proven track record of year-on-year delivery
• As required provide leadership of high-profile sourcing initiatives

The Requirements

• Experience of technology procurement is highly desirable
• Experience/knowledge in compute, storage, middleware, infrastructure, service mgmt. and reporting platforms, end user computer, and software and licensing
• Experience in supplier negotiations
• Strong relationship building skills and ability to communicate complex ideas
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Creativity to seek, encourage and find non-traditional approaches to Procurement challenges
• Change management and self-awareness skills to adopt targeted approaches to a dynamic set of stakeholders
• Ability to articulate Procurement’s value, specifically as a Procurement business partner
• Knowledge of complex sourcing and procurement principles and best practices
• Industry Procurement knowledge
• Legal contract knowledge and negotiation experience
• Familiarity with relevant legislative, regulatory requirements, and industry standards as well as understanding of standard contractual terms and conditions to mitigate legal risk and ensure compliance
