Job Description

Job Title: Financial Planning AdministratorSalary: £20,000 - £25,000Location: IpswichThe Company:Our client is a growing independent financial advisory firm with a fantastic reputation for looking after both their clients and employees. They provide a holistic approach for both corporate and individual clients on a variety of financial products.The firm are very keen to ensure everyone who joins them seeking a career in the financial services industry is given not only given an opportunity to progress and grow, but also support encourage and support training.They are looking for someone to join their friendly team and play a large role in the company, so this position would suit someone willing to pitch in where needed and have a real impact on the firm.The Role:This position would suit someone who has previous experience in a Financial Planning or Wealth Management and industry relevant qualifications. But more importantly, someone who is looking to join a firm that truly looks after their team. You will be responsiblefor supporting advisors and representing the company in a professional manner.The role will include gathering information and preparing for client meetings, liaising with providers, processing applications, and communicating with clients. Therefore, this role requires someone who is confident and comfortable acting as the first pointof contact for professionals.Daily Duties:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for clients.
  • Data Entry.
  • "Pitch in where needed" attitude to work.
  • Photocopying Scanning & Filing.
  • Letter Writing.
  • Familiarity with several provider platforms.
  • Research.
  • Meeting deadlines.
  • Adhere to FCA standards & uphold the firms ethics.
Essential Requirements:
  • 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above including Maths and English.
  • Working towards the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
  • A high level of oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
  • Strong initiative and comfortable working independently.
  • Flexibility to support the current team.
Desired Requirements:
  • 2 years experience providing IFA administration support.
  • Comfortable using industry relevant software such as IRESS or Intelliflo.
  • Level 4 qualified through the CII.
