If you like being out on the road, working independently this could be the job for you!Key duties will include: Maximising the availability of plant and equipment on site through thorough investigation and repairing faults safely and in a timely manner, highlighting any asset condition issues Carrying out effective reactive repair activities on assets and equipment onsite Ensuring all work is completed safely in line with Health and Safety policies and procedures Coordinating and supporting external contractors when on site where required Procuring best value goods and services when required ensuring all procurement procedures are adhered to and corporate systems are maintainedWhat does it take to be an Electrical Maintenance Engineer Successfully completed an industrial electrical or mechanical apprenticeship NVQ level 3 or 4 or equivalent (electrical or engineering maintenance) as well as one of the below:o ONC/OND in electrical engineeringo BTEC/BEC TEC national certificate/ diploma in an electrical subjecto City and Guilds Parts 1 &2 in electrical engineering or equivalent Proven electrical experience, along with a good working knowledge of industrial electrical control systems, telemetry systems, pumps, gearboxes, general mechanical plant and equipment is essential Strong focus on health and safety legislation DSEAR COMPEX trained is desirable Ability to work independently, with the ability to problem solve is essential Flexible and resilient approach to work hours, training and adapting to the business needs when necessary A strong team player who is an advocate of collaboration Full driving licenceClosing date: Sunday 22nd January#loveeverydrop
