With a staff of over 2,500, we operate a busy commuter service from London Liverpool Street to destinations across the east of England.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Train Dispatcher at Ipswich Station.Main Duties:You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the platform, assisting customers with their travel needs, and helping mobility impaired customers have a smooth journey.You will assist with disruption, helping customers to complete their journeys and giving advice for their onward travel.As a Customer Service Train Dispatcher, you will be dispatching trains and liaising with drivers and guards to offer great service.You will comply with safety regulations, report faults and hazards, and liaise with other areas of the business when required.The role will include some night working and rostered Sundays. Earliest start is 0600 and latest finish is 2315. This role will also involve some light cleaning dutiesWhat we are looking for:You will have a high level of professionalism, positive attitude, and be pro-active, friendly, and open when dealing with our customers. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are crucial to this role.
