As Compliance Engineer you will be ensuring that our international, global leading manufacturing client complies with safety, chemical, exhaust and evaporative emissions in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.Working with external Government agencies, industry groups, third party testing companies, you will perform detailed compliance procedures in accordance with regulatory and business standards to obtain and maintain appropriate certifications for the business.It will be incumbent on you to improve and maintain control of compliance documentation and to continuously research standards and regulations and to provide input to the business regarding current and future regulatory requirements.Actively participating in design reviews and contributing to design changes, you will research and recommend design modifications that will ensure regulatory compliance, also analyzing and presenting to Business Leaders test data via graphs, spreadsheetsand statistics, using data analysis software.The Compliance Engineer will submit applications for approval to regulatory bodies and work with internal and external parties to gain approval to build and ship products, to include supporting model year change overs and product introductions, communicatingthe status of applications for approval to build and ship products. You will also maintain the confidentiality and security around sensitive designs/costings/test data/prototype models and product plans.Degree or equivalent qualified in mechanical or electrical engineering, you should have experience of compliance engineering or other related engineering experience. You should be competent and confident in the use of Microsoft Office Suite software.The successful applicant will enjoy a competitive salary and attractive employee benefits which include a nine day working fortnight (alternate Fridays off).
