** Registered Mental Health Nurse **** Ipswich, Suffolk **** Permanent and full time **** £28,000 - £30,000 **** Shift patterns vary; 8am - 11pm, 8am - 4pm, 9am - 5pm and 3pm - 11pm **** £2,000 bonus for joining **** Relocation package **BS Social Care are currently recruiting for a permanent and full time Nurse with mental health experience. You will be working with children and young people with mental health needs.About the employer; this company is a home for children that require mental health assessment and intervention. They utilise the secure base model of care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and have an experienced team inclusive of mental health nurses. Their homes offer therapy and education on site and the overall focus of the service we are recruiting for is to achieve positive outcomes for young people. They do this through multi agency working, personalised care planning and creating positive attachments. This placement will provide brilliant experience for understanding and working with mental health in a therapeutic environment. You will be working alongside an experienced team of Support Workers, Nurses and Therapists.About the job; duties will include supporting our young people in maintaining their physical health, mental health and overall wellbeing through monitoring, recording and reporting observations in these areas. The successful candidate will be expected to attend appointments in the community, LAC reviews, CPAs, professionals meetings and to liaise with the community team outside of meetings.Responsibilities will include being a named Nurse to one or two young people and taking the lead in supporting key children with their health, safety and wellbeing.
