North West Ipswich Practices (Chesterfield Drive, Deben Road and Norwich Road)Telephonist/Care Navigator posts availableDeben Road – 1 post @ 22 hours per week:Monday 1pm – 6.30pm (5.5 hours)Tuesday 8am – 1.30pm (5.5 hours)Thursday 1.30pm – 6.30pm (5 hours)Friday 8am – 2pm (6 hours)Norwich Road – 2 posts @ 20 hours per week:Post 1 – Monday & Friday 8am – 6.30pmPost 2 – Thursday & Friday 8am – 6.30pmRate of pay £9.30phChesterfield Drive, Deben Road and Norwich Road practices are 3 of 13 practices in Suffolk who are part of Suffolk Primary Care. We are actively developing our collaborative working agenda with a view to delivering shared services to all our 30,000+ patients. This includes operating a shared acute/same day service from Deben Road and routine/non-urgent care from Norwich Road and Chesterfield Drive. There are also plans for Chesterfield Drive and Deben Road practices to relocate to a new purpose built premises on the former ‘Tooks Bakery’ site in late 2022/early 2023. If you want to be part of this exciting future, we would love to hear from you.We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced and team focused individuals to join our admin teams working at Deben Road and Norwich Road Practices in Ipswich.You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, have the ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to multi-task whilst dealing with frequent interruptions.You will need to be able to explain sensitive or complicated information in a clear, sympathetic way that is easily understood.Previous experience of working within a GP practice environment and a working knowledge of SystmOne would be a definite advantage.A DBS check will be undertaken on the successful applicant.Closing date: Friday 13th November 2020Interview dates:Deben Road post – Monday 23rd November 2020Norwich Road posts – Tuesday 1st December 2020
