Area Sales ManagerIndustria Personnel Services Ltd are advertising on behalf of our Client successful applicant will be employed directly by the client.Our client:A long-established online timber merchant and hardwood supplier, based in Lutterworth with decades of experience and a focus on quality.* Generating sales in the above Location; cold calling potential customers to generate new business.* Building mutually beneficial relationships with customers* Maintaining contact with existing customers* Increasing the client base, by seeking out new customers in the area.* Meeting sales/profit targets agreed with the Managing Director and Sales Director.* Dealing with customer enquiries over the telephone, via email or fax.* Preparing quotes for customers with best possible margins with the most suitable stocks for the purpose.* Answering incoming calls and chasing up enquiries* Writing orders out following Whitmores procedures and preparing for credit control.* Responsible for any disputes/problems/further enquiries in relation to any orders taken on and in the listed Location* Being aware of account credit facilities.* Daily updating contact reports.* Answering technical questions on products over the phone and face to face.* Good knowledge of the stock in the yard, through computer system and visual inspections.The Successful Applicant Will Have/Be:* Extensive hardwood timber knowledge - Grading rules/Machining/Wastage* Friendly/confident telephone manner and verbal communication skills* Eye for detail and accuracy* Basic computer skills Word/Excel/Outlook/Open office* Willingness to continue learning and have positive energy* Proactive, contributing new ideas, improvements to systems and procedures etc* Must always wear a Shirt and Tie as a minimum requirement, with a business suit where required* Commitment to company* Quotations/Margins - numeracy/stock* Customer Relationship Management* Understanding customer needsLocation of work - Field based covering South East Employment - PermHours of work - Monday-Friday - 8am-5pm + extra hours as requiredPay - Competitive SalaryApply for This JobIf you feel this job opportunity is the right one for you- Please use the apply link!We will review your application as soon as possible and contact you if you are successful.
