Job Description

Its therefore an exciting time to join our team and be part of our journey.The role:Join us as an AdministratorInvoicing Salary Competitive depending on experience.Office BasedYou will be based at our offices in Ipswich -IP3 9SJWhat will be your key responsibilities

  • Raising invoices to our customers for shipping, clearance and delivery of consignments in accordance with company procedures.
  • Creating various customer reports as required.
  • Liaising directly with customers and internal department to resolve any queries
  • Contacting the profile/commercial department to determine the haulage rates to destinations where a fixed rate has not been agreed and liaising with the team to ensure that the rate is entered onto the Cargowise System.
  • Ensuring that job files have been accurately completed to show the correct profit against the balance and resolving any errors.
  • Investigating any errors made and identifying improvements to reduce errors, escalating where necessary
  • Identify procedural inadequacies and offer suggestions for improvements
  • Assist in the training of new starters when required
  • Covering team absences and supporting team members with their caseloads
  • Responsible for ensuring that archiving is complete, files must be in a numeric order and placed into storage boxes.
  • General office duties, this includes accurately filing documents, photocopying, sorting the post, answering the telephone.
  • Covering for reception during lunch times and annual leave, this includes answering and directing calls, welcoming and directing visitors, recording documents received, sorting post, arrange collection and delivery or archive files
  • Undertake any other duties commensurate to the job as may be reasonably required
