Permanent Position: I am currently recruiting for the position of a Yard Operative for an organisation company who are the largest independent supplier of building materials. This company provides an integrated solution to construction companiesto deliver all size of projects.Daily Duties:" Loading and unloading goods from vehicles." Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility." Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following stock control instructions." Checking loads are secure." Stacking empty pallets." Performing daily equipment checks" Helping to load and unload trucks by hand where necessary." Undertake stock checks." Performing other warehouse tasks as per the task lists specified below." You could work with various machines including counter-balance trucks, telescopic handlers, -loading trucks and pedestrian-controlled pallet lifting equipment.Requirements:" You must possess a valid FLT licence or be prepared to complete approved forklift training." Previous warehouse or depot experience will be an advantage."A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride." Excellent physical health is required as most warehouse jobs involve loading and unloading cargo. The work is physically demanding and requires lifting, bending, or standing for long periods of time and exposure to the elements.Full time hours are available: Permanent, (Monday to Friday 7.00am to 5pm and every 2nd Saturday 7am - 12.30) Competitive Annual SalaryBenefits:Salary:£22,500 - £24,000
